Entrance Test for Admission into
M.Sc., (Applied Nutrition)
Affiliated to Dr.NTRUHS, Vijayawada for the Academic Year 2015-17
ADMISSION NOTIFICATION
Applications are invited from Indian Nationals for admission into 1st year M.Sc (Applied Nutrition) Course at the National Institute of Nutrition (NIN), Hyderabad for the academic year 2015-17. The course is affiliated to Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (Dr.NTRUHS), V$Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh.
Eligibility: Candidates should have passed MBBS or B.Sc. (Nutrition / Home Science / Nursing) or B.Sc. (with Biochemistry or Nutrition as one of the major subjects)
from recognized Universities
Application Forms: Application forms along with Prospectus can be obtained in person from the Head of the Department (HoD), Extension & Training Division, National Institute of Nutrition, Jamai-Osmania PO, Near Tarnaka Flyover, Hyderabad-500 007 Telangana State or it may be downloaded from the Website: www.ninindia.org or http://ntruhs.ap.nic.in/. The application forms will be available from 10:00 am of 05.06.2015 to 5:00 p.m. of 29.06.2015.
Last Date for Submission of Application Forms: The duly filled in applications along with a demand draft for Rs.3000/- (for (OC/ BC/ OBC candidates) & Rs. 2700/- (for SC / ST candidates) towards Registration fee from any Nationalized Bank, drawn in favour of The Director, NIN payable at Hyderabad and necessary enclosures specifying the quota (State or Central) should be submitted to The HoD, Extension and Training Division, National Institute of Nutrition, Jamai-Osmania PO, Hyderabad – 500 007, Telangana State on or before 30th June, 2015 by 5:00 PM.
Applications received after the last date and time shall be rejected. NIN or Dr NTRUHS is not responsible for postal delay or loss of the form in transit.
Number of Seats: Out of the total 16 seats available, 6 ate reserved for State Quota for applicants from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and 10 are reserved for Central quota (for applicants from other States of India).
List of Eligible Candidates & Entrance Test: The list of eligible candidates to appear for the test will be uploaded on NIN’s website (www.ninindia.org) on 10.07.2015. The candidates should collect their hall tickets in person on 31.07.2015 from HoD, Extension and Training Division, NIN, Hyderabad, Telangana State or on 01.08.2015 at Dr. NTR Universty Health Sciences, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh (Contact No 9848755981).
The Entrance Test will be conducted at Vjayawada-520 008 Andhra Pradesh on 02.08.2015 (Sunday) from 11:00 AM. to 12.30PM. Results of the Entrance Test will be uploaded on the website on 24.08 2015. The 1st Counseling Session will be held at NIN Hyderabad on 23.9.2015.
