Nitte University will be conducting Nitte University All India Entrance Test for Post Graduate Medical and Dental Courses NUPGET-2014 on 12-01-2014 for candidates seeking admission to MD/MS and MDS in its constituent colleges, namely K.S. Hegde Medical Academy and A.B. Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences, for the academic year 2014-15. Eligible candidates desiring to appear for the Entrance Test may download the application form from our website www.nitte.edu.in.

The last date of receipt of application for NUPGET – 2014 by the Registrar, Nitte University is 04-01-2014.

1. Introduction: Admission to MD/MS and MDS courses offered by Nitte University is based on Merit in the All India Entrance Test for PG courses NUPGET – 2014 conducted by the University. Based on inter se Merit in the Entrance Test, students will be admitted to MD/MS and MDS program in the constituent colleges, namely, K.S. Hegde Medical Academy, Mangalore and A.B. Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences, respectively, during the year 2014-15.

2. Eligibility: Candidates who fulfill the following criteria shall be eligible to appear for the Entrance Test, namely:
1. He/she is a citizen of India
2. He/she must have studied and passed courses leading to the award of Bachelor’s Degree (MBBS or BDS as the case may be) from a college recognized by the MCI for MD/MS candidates and DCI for MDS candidates.
3. He/she has completed or is completing compulsory rotatory internship on or before 30th April 2014.
4. Must be less than 45 years of age as on 30-04-2014.

Note: Applications are liable for rejection if
1. Incomplete
2. Received after the last date
3. Not signed by the candidate himself/herself wherever signature of the candidate appears.
4. Photographs are not of recent origin

3. Entrance Test Fee: The candidates are required to pay the Entrance Test fee of Rs. 3,000/- through A/c Payee Demand Draft in favour of “NITTE UNIVERSITY” payable at MANGALORE.
4. Submission: The filled application with all relevant documents should be sent to the Registrar, Nitte University, Deralakatte, Mangalore (D.K) – 575 018 by Speed Post so as to reach before the last date or may be handed over in person at the University Office on any working Day before the last date. Candidates should super scribe the sealed envelope carrying application form : “Application for NUPGET-2014“.
Test Admission Ticket (TAT) for the Entrance Test will be sent by post to the postal address furnished by the candidate in the TAT.

6. Conduct of Entrance Test: Date of Entrance Test (MD / MS & MDS): 12-01-2014 ; Timing: 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.
