Ravi Sankaran Inlaks Fellowship Program for Field Biology, Ecology and Conservation

The Inlaks Foundation calls for applications to this Program, which provides funds for three activities:

  • Study in a Masters degree at an Institution abroad
  • An internship with an Institution abroad
  • A short research or implementation project within India

Only activities that have an explicit focus on biodiversity conservation will be considered for this Fellowship Program.

We are particularly looking for young applicants with bold and unconventional ideas for tackling conservation problems.

The Fellowship will cover course and other fees and a suitable stipend, and, where appropriate, research or implementation funds will be given.

Applicants must be Indian nationals, must demonstrate a deep interest in biodiversity conservation and must hold a Bachelor’s or higher degree. Successful candidates will ordinarily be below the age of 30 on 15th April, 2010.
