UGC Commonwealth Academic Staff Fellowship – 2011

Invitation of Applications for the Award of Commonwealth Academic Staff Fellowships for the academic year 2011 offered by Commonwealth Secretariat, U. K.

Applications are invited from permanent faculty members working in recognized Universities/ Institutions/ Colleges including Medical Institutions for the award of Commonwealth Academic Staff Fellowships for six months for the year 2011 offered by Commonwealth Secretariat, U.K., for the academic year 2011. The fellowships are available in all disciplines including Medicine and Dentistry. The fellowships are not available for study towards higher degree and are not intended purely for discrete research projects.

Citizenship and Residency: Candidates should be citizen of India. Candidates must hold a doctorate degree. In the fields of medicine and dentistry, have qualified before 1 October, 2001.

Experience: Candidates should have at least five years experience as a staff member of the nominating University or similar institution in India.

In the field of Medicine and dentistry, have held a consultancy or equivalent post for at least five years.

Be available, by 1st October, 2011 to commence their fellowship in the United Kingdom.

Duration: Duration of fellowship is six months.
