Bankers Institute of Rural Development, an autonomous society promoted by National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), announces fully residential one year post graduate diploma in rural banking (PGDRB) – 2010-11
Total Seats: 40 (30 from open market + 10 in-service from Banks/MFIs/NGOs etc.)
Eligibility: Graduates in any discipline with minimum 50% marks (relaxations applicable as per GOI policies}. Weightage will be given to women candidates and candidates who have studied up to Class X in rural areas. However, candidates applying from the Open Market category must possess a valid CAT score and attach a copy of the same with their applications.
Age Limit: Up to 25 years as on 01 July 2010 (30years for in-service candidates)
Selection Procedure: To be shortlisted based on CAT scores followed by Group Discussion and Interview. CAT scores not required for in-service candidates.
How to apply: Application form and brochure may be downloaded from www.birdindia.org.in and completed application along with the prescribed fee must be sent to ‘The Director, BIRD, Sector-H, LDA Colony, Kanpur Road, Lucknow -226012 (U.P.)‘ so as to reach them on or before 21 May 2010.
