Counseling schedule for provisional admission into Post-Graduate Medical Courses for the academic year 2013-14

The counseling for provisional selection for admission into Post-Graduate Medical Degree / Diploma Courses for the academic year 2013-14 will be held from 07-07-2013 at Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada as per the schedule given below. The counseling will be as per the procedure given in G.O.P.No.646, Education Dt.10-07-1979 as amended in G.O.Ms.No.42, Higher Education, Dt.18-05-2009. Selection procedure for admission into PG broad specialty in the competent authority quota will be as per G.O.Ms.No.43, HM&FW (E1) Dept., dated 13-03-2013. Separate counseling’s will be held for Non-Service and Service seats.

All the candidates who have qualified at the Post Graduate Medical Entrance Test 2013 held on 17-03-2013 are informed to attend the counseling as per the schedule noted below with all original certificates and with University fee as stated below.

Counseling Schedule:
Venue: Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada.
Physically Challenged Candidates:

Physically Challenged Candidates are informed to attend before the Medical Board constituted by the University with all certificates for confirmation of status of disability as per the guidelines of Government of India and only those candidates confirmed by the Medical Board will be eligible for selection against the seats reserved under PH quota. The candidates who fail to attend before the medical board will not be considered under Physically Challenged quota during the academic year 2013-14.

COUNSELING SCHEDULE FOR NON-SERVICE SEATS:

* All candidates means OC, SC, ST, BC-A, BC-B, BC-C, BC-D and BC-E

* All category candidates means SC, ST, BC-A, BC-B, BC-C, BC-D and BC-E

UNIVERSITY FEE:
All the selected candidates shall pay Rs.10,600/- and Rs.13,600/- for admission into Government and Private colleges respectively on the day of counseling in the form of demand draft drawn on any nationalized Bank in favour of the Registrar, Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, payable at Vijayawada.

TUITION FEE:
The tuition fee is to be paid at respective colleges. The tuition fee for Private colleges is as per G.O.Ms.No.92 HM&FW (E1) Department, dated 01-07-2013 according to which, for Clinical Degree and Diploma is Rs.2,90,000/-, for Para Clinical Degree and Diploma is Rs.80,000/- and for Pre Clinical Degree is Rs.30,000/- per annum.

The in-service candidates eligible under service quota and fulfilling the eligibility criteria of remaining service as per G.O.Ms.No.122, HM & FW (E2) Department, dt.13-4-2006 shall attend the counseling with the service certificate issued (Original) by the concerned Directorate for the year 2013-14.
Note:

1. I. The candidates shall come prepared to stay for one or more days, even upto the last date of counseling, if required.
2. II. Mere attending the counseling does not confer right for a seat as more number of candidates are called than the number of available seats.
3. III. The eligibility for admission of Diploma holders into PG course is subject to further orders to be issued by Government of A.P.
