Admission Notification- 2015-16
Two Year Master of Education (M.Ed) (Four Semesters)
A pass in B.Ed. / B.Sc.Ed. / B.A.Ed / M.Sc.Ed or equivalent degree with 50% marks in aggregate. Candidates of Southern States and Union Territories of Lakshadweep and Puducherry are eligible to apply.
One Year Diploma Course in Guidance and Counseling (Distance Mode)
The Diploma course conducted between January and December 2016, and the admission process for the diploma course will commence during October 2015.

NCERT SCHOLARSHIP @ 1200/- pm: (only for M.Ed)
All the Scheduled Caste/ Schedule Tribe students admitted to the Institute will be awarded scholarship, provided they are not receiving financial assistance from any other source.
* Fifty per cent of the students excluding SC / ST category are awarded scholarship on merit cum means as per NCERT rules.
* In addition to this, 20% of the remaining students will be awarded free-ship as per rules. The selected candidates should submit parental Income Certificate at the time of admission.
* Scholarship / Freeship are linked to parental income.
Application forms can be downloaded from the website or can be collected in person / by post from the Institute.
Duly filled in application form along with DD for Rs.500/- (Rs. 250/- for SC/ ST / PH) and attested copies of certificates should be sent by Registered Post AD to the Section Officer, Academic Section, Regional Institute of Education, Mysore 570 006.

> Issue of application forms (in person / by post): 20th July to 7th August 2015
> Last date for receiving completed application forms: 7th August 2015
> Entrance Test: 14.08.2015 (Friday) between 10.00 & 11.00 AM
> Declaration of Result: 17.08.2015
> Admission: 19.08.2015
> Commencement of Classes: 20.08.2015
