FOR WOMEN CANDIDATES ONLY

During the Academic year 2022-23, two Agricultural Colleges for Women were started at Wanaparthy and at Karimnagar with an intake of 120 per College. At present, MJPTBCWR Agricultural College, Wanaparthy, is functioning at Peddagudem near Wanaparthy and MJPTBCWR Agricultural College, Karimnagar, is functioning at Thimmapur, Karimnagar. Both these colleges are affiliated to Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University, Hyderabad(PJTSAU).

Applications for the 3rd batch i.e., for the academic year 2024-25 are invited from the eligible candidates qualified in TG EAPCET-2024 and AGRICET-2024. This notification is for TG EAPCET-2024 qualified Candidates only for 85% seats. Separate notification for AGRICET-2024 candidates will be issued after Results are announced by PJTSA University for 15% seats.

B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture Programme (For Women Candidates OnlY)

Affiliated to Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University, Hyderabad (PJTSAU)

Eligibility:
1. WOMEN candidates of Telangana State are only eligible.
2. Parental annual income not exceeding Rs.1,50,000/-(Rupees One lakh fifty thousand only) for applicants residing in rural areas and Rs. 2,00,000/- (Rupees Two lakh only) for applicants residing in urban areas are only eligible.
3. A pass in two-year Intermediate Examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana State or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the University or Intermediate Board with the following subjects namely:
i) Physical Sciences
ii) Biological Sciences
4. Candidates must qualify TG EAPCET-2024.

How to Apply:
* The candidate shall first go through the information bulletin / Prospectus carefully, available on the website https://mjptbcwreis.telangana.gov.in. If satisfied her eligibility for applying, then only, the candidate has to apply.
* The candidate after satisfying herself about the eligibility criteria, shall pay Rs. 1,000/-(Rupees One Thousand only) through PAYMENT GATEWAY from 12.08.2024 to 31.08.2024 to enable to submit application online.
* Candidate shall upload all the documents mentioned along with online application.
* Candidate shall produce all the original documents at the time of Counselling for verification.
* Caution deposit and maintenance fee shall be paid at the time of Counselling itself.

Criteria for selection:
* The selection of candidates for all the seats shall be made on the basis of ranks obtained by the candidates in the Telangana State TG EAPCET-2024 conducted by the Telangana State Council for Higher Education.
* In case of a tie in ranks obtained by two or more candidates in the Telangana State TG EAPCET-2024, the marks secured in the optional subjects of the qualifying examination (Intermediate or its equivalent) shall be taken into consideration. In case of a further tie, the age of the candidate shall be taken into consideration and the older candidate shall be given preference.

Age:
* The candidates for admission into B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture course shall be required to have completed 17 years of age with an upper age limit of 22 years for all the candidates and 25 years in respect of SC and ST candidates; as on 31st December of the year of admission.

Residential Certificate:
* Applicants who have gap / break in the years of study for reasons other than failure or those who passed the qualifying examination by private study have to submit this certificate issued by the Tahsildar. In case, the applicant has resided in more than one place, separate certificates from the Tahsildar, should be furnished for such places of residence.
