The MSIT (Master of Science in Information Technology) programme was started in 2001. MSIT is an innovative multi-university interdisciplinary post-graduate programme. MSIT programme is being offered by “Consortium of Institutions of Higher Learning” (CIHL), formed by the Universities in Andhra Pradesh and in collaboration with Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), Pittsburgh, USA.
Students are admitted to the Learning Centers at International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT-H), Hyderabad, School of IT, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH), College of Engineering, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK) and College of Engineering, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Anantapur (JNTUA).
Eligibility: B.Tech / B.E (All branches) or Equivalent Degree / Post Graduates in Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistics / MCA. The duration of this programme is 2 years
Specializations: Computer Networks, E-Business Technologies, Information Security, Software Engineering and Data Analytics & Data Visualization.
Application & Entrance Test: Admissions are based on an entrance test conducted from May 24th, 2014

“Walk-in” Entrance Test: The candidates can take Entrance Test on any Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday every week from 17th April, 2014 to 23rd May 2014. including May 19, 20, 21 & 22, 2014.
