ADMISSION NOTICE
ONLINE applications are invited on prescribed form for Admission to the following courses for the academic Year 2014-15.

| 4 | Diploma in Clinical Neurophysiology Technology | 06 Seats (2 for Sponsored)* |
| 5 | Post Basic Diploma in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing | 45 Seats |
| 6 | Post Basic Diploma in Neuroscience Nursing | 09 Seats |
#4 for Sponsored, 6 for private Candidates, If the number of candidates from either of the two category is less than indicated, the corresponding number of candidates will be selected from the other category.
* Sponsored candidate/s means sponsored by the State/Central Government or Public Sector undertaking of State/Central Government.
ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS FOR ADMISSION
1. B.Sc. in Nursing: 4 years duration. Minimum Qualification for Admission: _
(i) Pre-University examination conducted by the department of Pre-University OR
(ii) Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (12 years course) OR
(iii)Senior School Certificate Examination, Pre-degree Examination (10+2) OR
(iv)An Equivalent with 12 years of Schooling from a recognized Board or University
2. B.Sc. in Radiography: 3 years duration. Minimum Qualification for Admission:
(i) Pre-University examination conducted by the department of Pre-University OR
(ii) An Equivalent examination recognized by the NIMHANS, Bangalore OR
(iii)Job Oriented Diploma course from a recognized Board with Diagnostic Radiography as vocational subject or Equivalent
3. B.Sc. in Anaesthesia Technology: 3 years duration. Minimum Qualification for Admission:Pass in Two year Pre University Examination or equivalent with a Science group having secured an aggregate of 45%* in Science subjects *40% in case of SC/ST Candidates.
Selection of Candidates for the above mentioned courses will be based on the marks obtained by the Candidate in the Qualifying Examination only. Please note there will not be any Entrance Test.
4. Diploma in Clinical Neurophysiology Technology (DCNT): The duration of the course will be for a period of two years Minimal Qualification: B.Sc. with Physics/Electronics/Computer Science with minimum Second Class in the qualifying examination or Diploma in Electronics/Electrical/Instrumentation/Computer (Approved by Board of Technical Education) or 3 years experience as EEG Technician after PUC. Selection to this course is based on the performance of the Candidate in the Interview.
5. Post Basic Diploma in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing & Post Basic Diploma in Neurosciences Nursing: Should be a registered Nurse (R.N&R.M) in the State Nursing Council with one year experience as staff nurse. Selection to these courses will be based on the recommendation of the Committee constituted by the Director.

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Application forms for all the courses are available online at the NIMHANS website www.nimhans.kar.nic.in The applications have to be filled online and submitted online. APPLICATIONS WITH ENCLOSURES WILL BE RECEIVED ONLINE ONLY. ABSTRACT NEED NOT BE SENT SEPARATELY.*
2. A candidate can apply for a maximum of 4 courses only, provided they are eligible.
3. The application fee is Rs.1000/- per course for General candidates & Rs.750/- per course for SC/ST candidates.
4. Foreign Nationals are required to submit their applications through the Diplomatic Channel (through the Ministry of External Affairs).
Sponsored candidates should submit their application through proper channel. The candidates should produce the sponsorship certificate in the prescribed format.\
5. AGE LIMIT: The age of candidates for all B.Sc. courses should be between minimum of 17 years and maximum of 25 years as on 01.08.2014.
6. Application is available online from : 9th May 2014
7. Application is available online for final submission upto: 8th June 2014
8. List of selected candidates will be notified by : 23rd June 2014
9. Commencement of the Courses : 1st August 2014
10. Last date for admission of candidates : 8th August 2014
