NTR University – MBBS/BDS Special Categories Certificate Verification

ADMISSIONS IN TO MBBS / BDS COURSES FOR THE ACADEMIC VEAR 2011-12 FOR VERIFICATION OF CERTIFICATES OF SPORTS AND GAMES. NCC. CAP (ARMY) AND PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED

In continuation of this office notification dated 13.07.2011 the Candidates who wish to claim seat under Special Categories of Sports and Games, NCC, CAP (Army) and Physically challenged candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria as specified in the notification dated 13.07.2011 are directed to attend with Original Certificates and 4 sets of attested Xerox copies for verification at Dr. NTR University of Health

*1) As per the regulations of MCI, the Physically Challenged candidates with locomotor disorder of lower limbs between 40% to 70% are only eligible. Candidates are informed to appear for medical examination before the medical board constituted by the Competent authority for confirmation of eligibility for admission under PH category. Other disability candidates need not attend the verification.
2) The guidelines of Govt, of India and regulations of MCI shall be observed in making admissions of differently abled (Physically Handicapped) candidates, according to which the Physically Handicapped candidates with locomotor disorder of lower limbs between 50% to 70% will be considered first and remaining unfilled, seats will be filled by candidates with 40% to 50% disability.

Note: If any eligible candidate fails to attend the verification of certificates on the above respective dates, the candidate will not be considered later for verification and selection against the respective category seats in MBSS/BDS course for the academic year 2011-12.
