Two Years Master’s Degree Programmes
RGNIYD is located in a sprawling campus at Sriperumbudur about 40 k.m. away from Chennai. As the acclaimed Institute of academic excellence in the field of Youth Development, RGNIYD is responsive to the needs and aspirations of the youth in India. It is elevated to the status of an Institute of National Importance by the Act of Parliament in 2012. RGNIYD is launching cutting edge Post-Graduate Programmes in the areas of Youth Empowerment, Career Counselling, Gender Studies, Local Governance, Life Skills Education and Development Practice.

ELIGIBILITY: Any Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 45 percent marks in any discipline from a recognized university. Candidates whose final year results awaited can also apply.
SELECTION PROCEDURE: The candidates will be selected on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying examination and performance in the entrance test and interview conducted.
RULES OF RESERVATION: Reservation of seats as per the Government of India rules. Tuition fee exemption for SC/ST students with an annual family income of less than Rs. 2.5 lakh per annum.
Application forms with prospectus can be obtained by any one of the following modes:
• Directly from the Institute on payment of Rs.200/- in cash. For SC/ST and differently abled students – Rs. 100/-.
• Application obtained through written requisition or downloaded, should be filled in and sent along with a demand draft for Rs.200/- (for SC/ST and differently abled students – Rs. 100/-) drawn on a Nationalized Bank with self-addressed and stamped envelope (Rs.25) in favour of The Director, Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development, payable at Sriperumbudur.
