2011 GIIS JUNIOR COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS AT SINGAPORE
2 year Scholarships sponsored by the Global Indian Foundation for studying at GIIS Singapore will be awarded for Standards 11 & 12, CBSE or IB, for the 2011-2013 session. The scholarship worth S$ 66,000* per student includes all tuition fees and boarding expenses. This scholarship amount also includes an annual allowance of S$2400, settling allowance of S$500, one time return airfare from India to Singapore. Subsidized medical benefits will also be given. No bond is attached to the GIIS Scholarship.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Minimum 85% or equivalent grade in Std 10 Pre-Board exam, in Slds 8 & 9 final exams, CBSE or IGCSE or ICSE or any State Board {with English as 1st language). Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test in mid April 2011 to be held at Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Pune, Nagpur, Ahmedabad, Surat and Trichy. Written test will include General Ability, Mathematics and English. Interviews will be held in June 2011. Board Exam mark sheets to be provided on declaration of results. Students are expected to leave for Singapore by end June 2011.
