Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute is inviting online applications for admission into Post Grduate Programme in Cinema for the academic year 2015.
Duration: 3-year (full time), Postgraduate Programme in Cinema
Course Structure: Integrated Course in I & II Semester – 20 weeks each [common for all Specialisations except Animation Cinema].For Animation Cinema 6 weeks of integrated course.
Specialisation Programme III – VI Semester 80 weeks
Specialisations Offered: 1. Producing for Film & Television 2. Direction & Screenplay Writing 3. Cinematography 4. Sound Recording & Design 5. Editing 6. Animation Cinema
No. Of Students: Maximum 68 students per batch (8 students for Animation Cinema, 12 students* each for other specialization)
Course Content: Classroom Lectures, Practical Exercises, Film Screenings, Interactions with Professionals, Workshops
Assessment: Attendance, Practicals, Coursework, Sessionals / Written Examinations, Exercises, Projects
Mode Of Assessment: Continuous

Eligibility criteria
| Course | Qualification |
| Direction & Screenplay Writing | Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent (the candidates who will have the marks sheet of the final examination for bachelor’s degree in their hand by 26th June, 2015, are eligible to apply). For Animation Cinema, candidates should have proficiency in drawing. |
